Free World Explorers Cursive Packet

This cursive handwriting worksheet packet features a dozen pages of practice, one on each of the following explorers of the world:

  • Captain James Cook
  • Hernando de Soto
  • Ferdinand Magellan
  • Amerigo Vespucci
  • Juan Ponce de Leon
  • Ernest Shackleton
  • David Livingstone
  • Lewis & Clark
  • Henry Hudson
  • Vasco da Gama
  • Roald Amundsen
  • Samuel de Champlain

Each page features a title (name of explorer) and one single sentence in large type cursive.  There are several lines with dotted center lines upon which to carefully transcribe the title and sentence telling about the explorer.  This set can be used as an introduction to writing whole sentences or super-short paragraphs in cursive — either the end of the first year of cursive learning, or some time during the second year.

I am blown away. Thank you so much for taking the time out to do this. I just wanted to give my son a little more advanced practice so i just search Google and it pulled up your site. Thank you so much! Just what I was looking for! My son desperately needs some extra practice and these are so much more interesting to him than most handwriting practice we have found!

What can I say except thank you, thank you, thank you!

  6. One thing missing from my child’s education has been her handwriting. When she’s looked at my grandmother’s everyday script that was even so artistic in nature, she boggles as to why it’s been dropped from being taught in schools. She’s just graduated and this has been something she’s wanted to learn this summer, thank you so much for providing something that doesn’t have baby block letters on it! LOL I love that this has more advanced for her practice as well, thank you!
